Before buying you must do proper research on the antique item. The internet is the best place to do research on antique items as it can provide valuable information regarding global antique prices and the history of antique items. You should also be careful about antique reproductions. If you are new and have not done proper research, it will be difficult to tell the difference between a reproduction from the original. Antique pieces should show some wear and tear and these small details are something to look out for. If the item looks flawless than it probably is not an authentic antique.

Proper care and maintenance should be taken to preserve antique items for ages. When buying an item, gather information about proper antique storage and antique preservation methods. Items should be kept in moderately humid and cool places. Direct sunlight should be avoided. The antiques should be handled carefully. Excessive cleaning sometimes ruins the originality of the antique.

For Went together well but needs two people to fit the lid. Main issue is that it is not weather-proof, heavy rain can blow in through the gap between the lid and the walls. It has has lots of places for wildlife to get in and set up home among the contents eg wasps and hornets, ants and mice which could either damage contents or give a nasty surprise if not regulary checked for. Soft furnishings would need to be kept in sealed vacuum bags to prevent mould from internal high humidity.Found condensation under the lid after chilly night. Not really designed for the British climate, unfortunately as it is a good size and appears strongly made. Otherwise it would be good value for money. Took nearly a month to arrive but probably due to Covid 19. More secure and easier to move around if it had locking points at each end of the lid which bends if you lift at the ends. There are hand holds at the ends but these are very shallow and not easy to lift by

Quick delivery . The box is a great size . I have 3 two seaters with 10 cm cushions for sitting on and back rest. I also have 3 stool cushions and a patio umbrella which fit neatly into it. However when it arrived the lid was slightly warped at the front. I tried calling to complain but couldn’t get through . Instructions to build easy to follow . One morning I got up and the lid had blown up and cushions were all wet , because of this I had to move into my shed, not sure if this is because of the fault with the lid . I love the look of these. In the picture they appear to have a gloss on them which I liked for rain, or easy wipe off, but they don't actually have that sheen. There are a few spots on them that did not get stained well, so the color is not completely even. They are very comfortable, but creak quite a bit when sitting and getting up.
